Job Title: Clinical Scientist in Audiology

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Scientist in Audiology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to patients of all ages, with a focus on paediatric audiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical audiology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting.
  • Work collaboratively with the audiology team to ensure effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the professional development of the team.

Requirements:

  • Significant post-degree experience in audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
  • Highly specialised knowledge of paediatric audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
  • Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research.
