We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientist (Audiology) Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to children and their families.
Job Summary:The Clinical Scientist (Audiology) Paediatric Audiologist will work closely with the paediatric audiology team to provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages. The role will involve close liaison with the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, Paediatric ENT, Sensory Support Service, and the Hearing Implant Programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the audiology team, supporting a positive team culture and providing guidance to less experienced staff.
- Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Significant post-degree experience in any area of Audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
- Highly specialised knowledge of paediatric audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
- Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research.
