Job Title: Clinical Scientist in Audiology

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our team at the Children's Hearing Centre, St Michaels Hospital in Bristol.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric audiology and be able to provide high-quality clinical services to children and their families.

The role will involve working collaboratively with the audiology team to provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages.

The post holder will be responsible for providing patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification, be registered with the HCPC or AHCS, and have significant post-degree experience in any area of Audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.

The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure, prioritise workload, and react to issues that crop up at short notice efficiently and calmly.

  • Conducting clinical audits and research

The audiology team at the Children's Hearing Centre is a dynamic and supportive team that provides a range of services to children and their families.

The team consists of assistant audiologists, paediatric audiologists, and clinical scientists who work together to provide high-quality clinical services.
