Job Title: Clinical Scientist (Audiology)

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to join our Paediatric Audiology team at the Children's Hearing Centre, St Michael's Hospital, Bristol.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to work with our team of audiologists, providing diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the audiology team, supporting a positive team culture and contributing to the professional development of the team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Significant post-degree experience in Audiology with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology.
  • Highly specialised knowledge of Paediatric Audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
  • Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research.
