Job Title: Audiologist/Clinical Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist/Clinical Scientist to join our Paediatric Audiology team at the Children's Hearing Centre, St Michael's Hospital, Bristol.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Audiology, with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology. They will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to children and their families, working collaboratively with the audiology team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as excellent organisational skills. They will be an autonomous, self-directed practitioner who is able to complete the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Significant post-degree experience in Audiology with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology
  • Highly specialised knowledge of Paediatric Audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training
  • Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research
