Job Summary

Quast Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Submarine Acquisition program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the engineering aspects of the program, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Oversee the engineering aspects of the Submarine Acquisition program, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Customer Interface: Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and ensure that the program meets their needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise to the team, ensuring that all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Program Management: Proven experience in managing complex engineering programs, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers and technical specialists.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of submarine acquisition programs, with experience in nuclear submarine acquisition programs.

Requirements

  • Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, with a valid visa and the ability to obtain SC clearance.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering management, with a strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects.
