We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planning Specialist to join our team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of the United Kingdom by maintaining the submarine service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to submarine programme changes and what-if scenarios, balancing maintenance against an ever-challenging programme to ensure safe, capable, and available submarines.
- Utilize the new asset management tool to provide a holistic view and approach to managing maintenance requirements through life.
- Collaborate with relevant Subject Matter Experts across Babcock, the Royal Navy, MoD, and Industry Partners.
- Contribute to the development of the new through life boat plan application.
- Demonstrable experience or understanding of maintenance requirements and planning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to produce technical reports and recommendations.
- Willingness to work towards continuous professional development.
- Strong IT skills and experience in analyzing data through Excel or similar computer programs.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering-based discipline or HNC/HND or demonstrable relevant experience.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) / Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
