Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our London office, you will be responsible for leading an engineering cost centre and overseeing the design and delivery of complex structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an engineering cost centre, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
  • Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of structures and materials.
  • Implement company policies and ensure adherence across your team.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
