About Us

At Wave Photonics, we are pioneering a platform to accelerate the development, mass production, and adoption of integrated photonics technologies. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of integrated photonics in various applications, including energy-efficient communications, wearable healthcare sensors, rapid diagnostic tools, optical tensor processors, on-chip LiDAR, quantum computing and communication, and more.

Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to transition into a business-focused and customer-facing role, leveraging their technical expertise to drive business growth and adoption of our integrated photonics technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a keen interest in business development and sales, and knowledge of the semiconductor and photonics industry. They will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, building relationships, and identifying business opportunities across various markets, including telecommunications, quantum technologies, and sensing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in the semiconductor and photonics industry
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development strategies
  • Represent Wave Photonics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Collaborate with the technical team to gather customer requirements and feedback
  • Provide support to users of our platform and respond to customer inquiries
Requirements
  • Strong technical background with a desire to transition into a business-focused role
  • Keen interest in business development and sales
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor and photonics industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A bias for action and a willingness to travel for business events and meetings
