Integration and Validation Project Engineer
Optamor, a pioneering company dedicated to transforming the electric vehicle sector through innovative technology and engineering excellence, is in search of an Integration and Validation Project Engineer to enhance our accomplished Engineering Team.
This position will operate in a hybrid model, allowing the successful candidate to collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking professionals in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering efforts focusing on the integration and validation of electrical systems and software in electric vehicles.
- Be the first responder to identify and assist in resolving electrical system challenges encountered throughout the development lifecycle, from initial prototypes to production vehicles.
- Develop and implement validation and acceptance testing plans for new hardware and software releases in alignment with feature implementation and project timelines. Create comprehensive test reports to facilitate fault analysis.
- Collaborate closely with vehicle function leaders across various domains, Tier 1 suppliers, and key technical partners, utilizing diagnostic tools and electrical/system design documentation to analyze faults related to electrical and software integration.
- Provide support for builds and maintain testing assets, ensuring that new software and hardware releases are accessible as needed.
- Assist in organizing and supporting additional validation activities, including market testing, certification processes, and EMC testing.
- Support manufacturing and after-sales teams by developing and delivering training for the use of diagnostic tools interfacing with vehicle electrical systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in hardware and software integration and validation within an automotive engineering environment, having contributed to at least one complete program from initial testing to production.
- Proven experience in electrical architecture systems integration, with exposure to various vehicle domains such as Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Autonomous Drive, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity.
- Solid understanding of vehicle networks and diagnostic technologies, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, DoIP, and UDS/OBD2. Proficient in using design documentation and data logs for fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, LabView, and TestStand.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle harnesses, system diagrams, and laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
