Position Summary: We are in search of an Electrical Integration Project Specialist to become a vital member of our esteemed Engineering Team. This role will be hybrid, allowing collaboration with some of the most forward-thinking professionals in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison for all inquiries and challenges related to electrical integration, working in tandem with various engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Function Team and Software Team to grasp integration needs and limitations, ensuring coherence with product specifications and feature lists.
  • Enhance communication and teamwork across different functional groups, offering technical expertise and support to navigate integration obstacles and guarantee project success.
  • Oversee and ensure compatibility of all electrical components within the designated area.
  • Document and maintain system boundary diagrams, focusing on interfaces and their optimization to influence weight, efficiency, and performance positively.
  • Manage technical deliverables, project timelines, and issue tracking for assigned systems to facilitate timely delivery to the vehicle program.
  • Assist other functional teams to ensure adherence to process-driven development methodologies.
  • Lead system reviews, verification, and validation activities, including FMEAs, DVP planning, and compliance with ISO26262 standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the automotive electrical integration domain, with a solid understanding of the Automotive New Product Development Process, including milestones and deliverables for each phase.
  • Proven experience in electrical integration tasks.
  • Experience in project engineering with Tier 1 suppliers, including the preparation of project documentation and reports, as well as risk management and recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with CAN, FlexRay, automotive Ethernet, LIN networks, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Experience with various engineering development tools (e.g., Polarion, JIRA) and collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Office 365.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics or a related field, with relevant experience in the industry. Other recognized engineering qualifications combined with significant experience will also be considered.
  • Additional professional qualifications in Project Management are preferred.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
  • A strong problem-solving and analytical mindset to generate reports and metrics supported by data.
  • A positive yet adaptable attitude to meet business objectives and milestones.
