Integration and Validation Project Engineer
Optamor, a pioneering organization in the electric vehicle sector, is on a mission to redefine the industry through innovative engineering and advanced technology. We are currently seeking an Integration and Validation Project Engineer to enhance our exceptional Engineering Team.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing the successful candidate to collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking professionals in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering efforts focused on the integration and validation of electrical systems and software within our electric vehicles.
- Act as the primary responder to identify and resolve electrical system challenges throughout all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial prototypes to production-ready vehicles.
- Develop and implement validation and acceptance testing plans for new hardware and software releases, aligned with feature implementation and project timelines. Produce comprehensive test reports to support fault analysis.
- Collaborate closely with vehicle function owners across various domains, Tier 1 suppliers, and key technical partners, utilizing diagnostic tools and electrical design documentation to analyze faults related to electrical and software integration.
- Provide support for vehicle builds and maintain testing assets, ensuring the availability of new software and hardware releases as required.
- Assist in organizing and supporting additional validation activities, including market testing, certification processes, and EMC testing.
- Support Manufacturing and After-sales teams by developing and delivering training on the use of garage tools that interface with vehicle electrical systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in hardware and software integration and validation within an automotive engineering environment, having contributed to at least one complete program from initial testing to production.
- Proven experience in electrical architecture systems integration, with knowledge across various vehicle domains such as Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Autonomous Drive, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity.
- Familiarity with vehicle networks and diagnostic technologies, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, DoIP, and UDS/OBD2. Ability to utilize design documentation and data logs for fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, LabView, and TestStand.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle harnesses, system diagrams, and laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
