Integration and Validation Project Engineer
Optamor, an innovative leader in the electric vehicle sector, is on a mission to redefine the industry through advanced technology and engineering excellence. We are in search of an Integration and Validation Project Engineer to become a vital part of our talented Engineering Team.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing the successful candidate to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in automotive engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering efforts focused on the integration and validation of electrical systems and software within our electric vehicles.
- Act as the primary responder to identify and resolve electrical system challenges encountered throughout the development process, from initial prototypes to production vehicles.
- Develop and implement validation and acceptance testing plans for new hardware and software releases, ensuring alignment with feature rollouts and project timelines. Produce comprehensive test reports to aid in fault analysis.
- Collaborate closely with vehicle function owners across various domains, Tier 1 suppliers, and key technical partners to perform fault analysis on electrical and software integration challenges using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
- Provide support for vehicle builds and maintain testing assets, ensuring that new software and hardware updates are accessible as required.
- Assist in organizing and supporting additional validation activities, including market testing, certification processes, and EMC testing.
- Support Manufacturing and After-sales teams by creating and delivering training for the use of garage tools that interface with vehicle electrical systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in hardware and software integration and validation within an automotive engineering environment, having contributed to at least one complete program from initial testing through to production.
- Proven experience in electrical architecture systems integration, with knowledge across various vehicle domains such as Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Autonomous Drive, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity.
- Familiarity with vehicle networks and diagnostic technologies, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, DoIP, and UDS/OBD2. Proficient in using design documentation and data logs for fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, LabView, and TestStand.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle harnesses, system diagrams, and laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
