Job Title: Pastoral Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pastoral Support Assistant to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd. As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and academic success of students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with challenging behavior, helping them to develop positive relationships and coping strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior management plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that all parties are informed and involved in the student's progress.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with challenging behavior.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
