About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our pastoral team as a Secondary Head of Year. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding pastoral support for all students within the year group, and fostering a culture that enables all students to maximise their achievements across the spectrum of school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional pastoral support to students, parents, and staff
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student well-being and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school leaders to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to Ark's values of Ambitious, Resilient, and Kind
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
