Our organization is in search of a strategic Head of Shared Services Innovation, tasked with leading the digital evolution of our Shared Services Centre. In this essential position, you will be instrumental in refining our service delivery, improving market readiness, and ultimately enhancing our organization's competitive advantage.
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Head of Innovation is a dynamic and demanding role responsible for the design and implementation of our future-oriented operational frameworks across Finance, Human Resources, Field, and Legal Operations. Adopting a process-driven and technology-first approach, the Head of Innovation will grasp the objectives and clientele of each department before expertly aligning selected systems with forward-thinking digital solutions.
These solutions will deliver enhanced value to our distinguished customer base, which includes prominent brands such as Virgin Media 02 (UK) and Virgin Media Ireland/VMTV, Sunrise (CH), Central Head Office, and our expanding Ventures Portfolio. We aim to broaden our offerings to include Transformation as a Service (TaaS), providing new clients with outsourced digital transformation services through our unique blend of Lean Six Sigma-backed operational processes and future-oriented technology, targeting the global market.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Head of Innovation, you will collaborate with the Director of Digital Transformation to provide inspiring thought leadership, effective service management, and a strong commitment to excellence in transactional finance processes, alongside the commercial insight necessary for departmental success.
- Assess existing customer contracted services, current delivery methods, and organizational structures to identify transformation opportunities within regulatory or contractual boundaries;
- Facilitate alignment between Lean Six Sigma Operations and our clients to identify opportunities for process efficiency, investment, and returns that enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and customer value.
- Analyze leading digital partners and future Lean Six Sigma operating models to drive digital transformation within our sector;
- Champion change initiatives, challenge Data, IT, Operational, and Automation teams to optimize Lean Six Sigma operations;
- Carefully implement new solutions in accordance with Regulatory, Accounting, Legal, Contractual, and Tax Regulations across all jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with Operational Leaders to understand the current and future customer base, projected multi-year contracts, and return on investment lifecycle to ensure operational sustainability and the necessity for transformation;
- Continuously evaluate the market position of our Operational service offerings against competitors to ensure Payment, Legal, and Field Operations remain relevant and viable in the evolving finance landscape;
- Enhance brand reputation through strategic networking, industry accreditation, and uphold high standards for both Lean Six Sigma and yourself.
Key Projects:
- Development of a Transformation Roadmap for all Operations in Lean Six Sigma
- Articulation of current and future operational states
- Effective engagement across Operations, Technology, Commercial, and Human Resources.
- Digitalization of Operations
- Implementation of touchless or low-contact tier 1 processing
- Initial drafts of tier 2 transactions utilizing AI solutions
- Achieving market-leading cost per transaction
- Expansion into the External Business Process Management market
- Attaining market-leading speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Required Knowledge and Experience:
The ability to effectively translate operational goals into credible and realistic technical solutions is essential.

- A background in operations with a solid grasp of high-volume tier 1-3 transaction processes.
- Technical systems knowledge or experience in digital automation
- A preference for a dynamic multinational finance environment
- Exposure to customer acquisition strategies
- A collaborative, consultative approach, capable of working effectively across national boundaries.
