Role Location: Aberdeen/London

Role Purpose:

  • The Senior Corporate Reporting Advisor is tasked with overseeing the creation of all Corporate HSES reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the incident reporting systems and databases.
  • Coordinate with the reporting tools provider and the IT department regarding all technical matters related to the relevant tools and databases.
  • Process incident and accident reports, ensuring quality control of all documented incidents; facilitate incident reporting in the business units and disseminate best practices.
  • Evaluate health and safety reports, identifying trends and proposing recommendations for preventive or corrective actions.
  • Lead the Lessons Learned initiatives.
  • Maintain an advanced understanding of relevant advancements in data analysis, reporting, and predictive analytics, working to transform dormant data into actionable insights for incident prevention and process enhancement.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in utilizing reporting software and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, health and safety, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA) are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in corporate reporting, sustainability reporting, or HSES management within the oil and gas sector or a comparable industry.
  • Strong grasp of HSES regulations, standards, and best practices pertinent to the oil and gas sector, including familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, and software applications for managing and analyzing HSES data, such as EHS management systems (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and business intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to distill complex technical information into clear and concise reports for varied audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior management, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights to foster continuous improvement.
  • Project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate responsibility.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to navigate uncertainty and drive change in a complex regulatory and operational landscape.
