Puro, a leader in carbon removal solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic and entry-level Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about sustainability. Our mission focuses on enhancing carbon removal efforts for significant climate impact. We are looking for a quick learner and innovative thinker to support the execution of marketing, branding, and event strategies that align with our organizational goals. If you possess a positive attitude, are eager to advance your marketing career in the sustainability sector, and have some relevant experience (preferably in B2B marketing and event management), this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic start-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating industry events, trade shows, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Research opportunities for presenting, exhibiting, sponsoring, or attending events.
  • Maintain an organized events calendar.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Administrative and Marketing Support:

  • Organize and manage marketing and creative assets and databases.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing, public relations, and other internal teams as needed.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies.

Website and Social Media Management:

  • Update website content as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating social media accounts.

Content Development:

  • Support the creation of high-quality content across various formats and platforms (e.g., presentations, brochures, website pages).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience (internships included) in a project management or coordinator role.
  • A strong interest in building a career in marketing and sustainability.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn Marketing Automation Software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A collaborative and positive team player.
  • Adaptable and open to constructive feedback.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required.
