We are seeking a skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at Sustainable Infrastructure. As a Steelwork Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering nuclear power plant projects, including those at Hinkley Point and Sizewell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop steelwork platform designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Manage engineering changes in line with company procedures to maintain project efficiency.
  • Create and maintain the Design Risk Register to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of steelwork design and civil engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £70,000-£75,000.
  • A flexible working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
