Job Description

Overview This position is situated within the Hays Travel Flights Department, dedicated to delivering a professional and knowledgeable service for all scheduled flight inquiries.

Role Summary As a member of our successful and welcoming team, you will customize and provide flight itineraries for our clientele. Utilizing your product knowledge, you will ensure outstanding customer service while organizing air travel arrangements through the Galileo GDS system. You will directly support our agents, who depend on our expertise for their sales functions.

Main Responsibilities

Utilize the Galileo GDS system to craft personalized flight itineraries through calls, emails, and Live Chat & SmartSheet's. Provide expert advice and insights to customers regarding airlines and routing options. Ensure customers receive a comprehensive solution for their inquiries. Assist customers with system support and guidance. Communicate directly with airlines to resolve any issues and achieve favorable outcomes. Adhere to the Customer Excellence process and procedures consistently.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in a fast-paced work environment. Background in customer service roles. Familiarity with a Travel Sales environment. Prior experience using the Galileo GDS.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals. Communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels through live chat, emails, and calls. Offer expert guidance to customers on airlines and routing options. Ensure adherence to the Customer Excellence program in line with company standards.

Skills

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an advanced level. Highly motivated, confident, and dedicated. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude. Attention to detail and high accuracy levels. Excellent administrative skills with effective time management. Knowledge of sales systems.

Team Work

Enthusiastic and proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility to meet the needs of the business. Experience working within teams located in various settings.

Communication

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage with staff at all levels. Effective motivational skills, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
