Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to children, young people, and their families in a range of settings.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment plans, aligned with NICE guidelines.
- Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.
- Engage with patients, carers, and families to ensure their involvement in service decision-making and planning.
