About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective and compassionate care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and carers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty, excellent clinical skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
