Job Summary:

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join their team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people.

About the Role:

  • Provide specialist clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to children, young people, and their families in various settings.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
  • Participate in a friendly and supportive team environment, including nurses, psychologists, systemic family therapists, and child psychotherapists.
  • Be part of a Trust-wide SAS network, offering opportunities to liaise with colleagues and develop peer networks.
  • Attend regular division meetings and clinical governance meetings to ensure high standards of care.
