Reed is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join their team in Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in block property management to take on a key role in a rapidly growing property management company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's property portfolio, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly. This will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with freeholders, leaseholders, contractors, and landlords.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills. They will be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and will have a strong attention to detail.

The role will involve:

  • Managing the property portfolio, including ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with freeholders, leaseholders, contractors, and landlords.
  • Managing insurance matters, including documentation and claims management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, fire risk assessments, and reports.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maximize property assets for stakeholders.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of property management principles and practices, and will be able to apply this knowledge in a practical way.
