Yorktel is on the lookout for a Senior Project Management Leader to enhance our team.

The ideal Senior Project Management Leader will leverage their industry expertise, experience, and interpersonal skills to orchestrate activities that implement unified visual communications solutions for our clients.

This role acts as the primary business owner and first escalation contact for designated clients, ensuring the support of the assigned Project Management Team to achieve complete client satisfaction. The Senior Project Management Leader is expected to consistently deliver exceptional customer service while advocating for client needs and objectives within the organization.

Additionally, this position involves cultivating relationships with clients and their vendors to foster new and repeat business opportunities, as well as nurturing internal collaborations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Project Management, the Senior Project Management Leader will receive guidance and support in areas such as development, improvement, career growth, and client escalation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and management of project scope throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Conduct project job cost assessments and track related efforts, providing monthly forecasts for the assigned team.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and potential risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, software engineers, developers, and technical leads, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Adhere to client system delivery process guidelines and provide early feedback to project teams to proactively address issues.
  • Coordinate project-related activities across multiple departments, including Engineering, IT, Cloud Services, Sales, and Managed Services.
  • Engage with suppliers to procure necessary infrastructure and tools efficiently.
  • Manage large, complex accounts with multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
  • Identify unmet customer needs and develop innovative solutions.

Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of project managers and coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee employee development and leadership within the assigned team.
  • Make decisions regarding employee hiring, discipline, performance management, and related issues.
  • Communicate company values, strategy, and objectives effectively to all team members.
  • Review and report on financials of assigned accounts regularly.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • Experience in project management within a customer service environment.

Education and Experience:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification is preferred.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a technical field is desirable.
