We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Clinical Scientist to join our dynamic team at the Transformation Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding investigations department with a strong education and training program.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct advanced physiological tests on adult patients to aid in clinical diagnosis and provide accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day provision of high-quality care within the department.
- Assist in delivering assessments, training, and clinical supervision in all areas of cardiac physiology to members of physiology staff and students.
- Support the education of cardiac content to trainees from various non-physiology disciplines.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the department, including implementing and maintaining trust policies and embracing new technologies.
- Demonstrate a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- BSc Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and MSc in a relevant cardiac discipline.
- Cardiac Physiology equivalence to Clinical Scientist registration.
- Minimum of three years' experience in cath lab and echocardiography.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) clearly recorded for the professional profile.
- Perform and interpret basic cardiac investigations.
- Experience of staff supervision and mentorship.
- Involvement in project teams for developing and implementing departmental business cases and/or organization-wide developments.
- Confident in gathering and analyzing data.
- Previous experience in stock management.
