Your Role:

As a Junior Project Management Specialist, you will collaborate closely with a Project Director to effectively oversee and execute capital investment initiatives. This position entails offering client-side project management assistance throughout all phases of the project delivery lifecycle, from preliminary studies and development to construction tender support and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client-side project activities, including stakeholder engagement, scheduling, and contract oversight.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, both new and existing.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and members of the multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Lead the execution of Project Management assignments, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of project management outputs, adhering to established quality standards.
  • Coordinate and approve all management information generated by the project management team prior to distribution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they receive relevant training.
  • Engage in business development initiatives with current and prospective clients, identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities.
  • Manage the preparation of tender documents, evaluations, and negotiations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification (preferably MRICS).
  • Experience in a similar consultancy or relevant industry.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APM affiliation is preferred (as a secondary qualification).
  • Local residency or willingness to relocate is advantageous.
