Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to enhance our Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, preferably within the Private Banking sector, along with prior managerial or supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of Cash Management operations.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team to provide operational assistance for Treasury transactions.
  • Ensure the accurate updating and reconciliation of accounts including reroute, suspense, nostro, vostro, and sundry accounts.
  • Manage the reporting of all FD placements and the closure of FX positions in coordination with the Treasury.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational transactional and system-related issues.
  • Guarantee that all payments are processed accurately and within designated cut-off times.
  • Maintain daily oversight of treasury transactions handled by the back office team.
  • Work with the COO to establish a plan for Quality Control assessments of routine and ad-hoc tasks performed by the Operations department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a Private Banking environment.
  • A solid understanding of Treasury Operations is essential.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills acquired through previous roles.
  • Experience with Finacle is advantageous.
  • Current knowledge of FSA AML requirements is necessary.
  • A proactive individual capable of contributing to, recommending, and implementing operational enhancements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
