Job Summary
The Treasury Operations Controller will play a crucial role in supporting the Treasury Operations Manager in managing the day-to-day back office activities of the Treasury Operations team. This includes settlements, confirmations, special one-off transactions, and static data updates within the Treasury Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily corporate treasury settlement and confirmation processes, ensuring timely execution and adherence to defined cut-off times.
- Support the Treasury Operations Manager in overseeing and responding to requests received via the Operations Email inbox.
- Collaborate with Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders to ensure structured payments account for settlement and banking complexities.
- Provide guidance on banking and settlements to internal and external stakeholders, including clients and Local Operating Companies.
- Review daily bank reconciliations and follow up on identified reconciling items with banking counterparts and Local Operating Companies.
- Ensure banking static data remains up-to-date and compliant with Undisclosed's Business Process Standards and Treasury Global Standards of Practice.
- Support the Treasury Operations Manager in reporting Treasury Operations Activity.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements in Treasury Operations.
- Monitor and guide Treasury and external teams on compliance with Undisclosed's Business Process Standards and Treasury Global Standards of Practice.
- Complete activities with high accuracy within applicable bank cut-off times.
- Provide cover and support to the Treasury Operations Manager as needed.
- Understand Treasury Operations systems and processes to guide internal and external stakeholders and provide input for further enhancements.
- Support the development and delivery of structured payments.
- Comply with Undisclosed's Business Process Standards and Treasury Global Standards of Practice as directed by the Treasury Global Process Owner, Systems, and Processes.
- Manage internal and external cash flows (physical and non-physical) to £100 bn+ per annum, processing high-value and non-standard payments for M&A and corporate initiatives.
- Proactively identify and drive improvements in daily processes, collaborating with the dealing team, cash team, and core business services.
- Address problems arising with settlements, confirmations, and structured payments.
- Work with and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of Treasury Operations requirements and guide compliance with Undisclosed's Business Process Standards and Treasury Global Standards of Practice.
- Maintain day-to-day relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payments and address queries and problems.
Requirements
- University graduate or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable understanding of Treasury Operations, Systems, and Processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage and work on multiple activities and priorities.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines given the time-critical nature of transactions and daily processes.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to create business solutions and have a continuous improvement mentality.

Preferred Qualifications
- ACT Qualification (preferred) or equivalent financial qualification.
- Experience of Global Treasury Operations in a multinational corporate environment.
- Experience and knowledge of Treasury Management Systems.
- IHC operational experience.
- Communication and influencing of internal and external stakeholders.
