Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the highest levels of care and service are provided in accordance with the company's mission, vision, policies, and procedures.
  • To provide professional support, training, guidance, and supervision to residential staff.
  • To support the team in establishing, renewing, maintaining, and implementing person-centred care plans for each child or young person.
  • To manage effectively and efficiently all allocated resources of the home, financially.
  • To support the daily and weekly management of the home, ensuring shift leaders and Home Managers carry out their duties and responsibilities.
  • To work with professional colleagues to identify each child or young person's best interests and establish plans to meet them.
  • To work with the Responsible Individual to implement, create, and monitor a framework of care systems.
  • To devise and deliver a home rota, ensuring the allocation of staff and needs of the children placed are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To fulfill the role of the Registered Manager as defined within the Care Standards Act, including travel within the UK.
  • To deliver on the content of the Certificate of Registration and the Statement of Purpose for the establishment.
  • To protect children and young people from risks to their health, welfare, and normal development, both inside and outside the Home.
  • To ensure the home environment is appropriate and sensitive to the needs of the children and young people being looked after, complying with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and quality standards.
