Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Exceptional Care. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our children's residential home.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Registered Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our young people.
  • Assist in the management of the home, including the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Take the lead in setting standards and evaluating achievements, and contribute to the review and development of strategies to improve the quality of services provided.
  • Facilitate and support young people in decision-making, promoting choice and involvement in house meetings.
  • Liaise with other agencies and professionals as necessary, and record information about young people and ensure communication with staff members.

**Requirements:**

  • 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting at senior level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
