Deputy General Manager

TFP Fertility is a leading fertility service provider in Europe, operating IVF clinics and egg/sperm freezing banks in the UK, Poland, and Netherlands. Our mission is to provide patients with a memorable best-in-class fertility journey that leads to the best outcome – starting a family.
The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Deputy General Manager to support our Thames Valley Fertility and Boston Place Fertility clinics in achieving their commercial, operational, and strategic goals. The successful candidate will focus on improving patient satisfaction, increasing Google review scores, and driving business development to grow market share.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Retention and Referrals: Enhance satisfaction metrics and integrate technology to streamline processes, identifying and implementing solutions to improve operational workflows and the patient journey.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly report on key performance indicators to senior leadership, ensuring data-driven decisions align with business objectives.
- Leadership and Development: Lead recruitment efforts, manage performance improvement plans, and ensure alignment with company values and strategic objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Optimise resource allocation and workforce planning to ensure staffing levels align with clinic demands, maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the General Manager in developing and executing strategic plans across the clinics.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
- Change Management: Drive change management initiatives across both clinics, ensuring smooth transitions during operational changes and technology implementations.
- Cost Control: Support cost control, stock management, and cost rationalisation across the clinics.
- Procedure Standardisation: Standardise procedures and policies across both clinics to ensure a consistent patient experience and operational excellence.
- Business Growth: Drive business growth and patient conversion rates, resolving complaints effectively while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Team Development: Lead collaboration with senior managers to build and continuously develop a high-performing management team, driving long-term business success.
- Education: Good standard of general education, degree level preferred.
- Experience: Proactive manager capable of assessing and costing new business opportunities, with knowledge of marketing strategies and previous experience in senior management roles.
- Skills: People management, development, and the ability to drive and engage your team, contract negotiation skills, and the ability to interpret financial statements and improve business profitability.
- Competitive Salary: Depending on experience.
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
