Overview

London Business School is seeking a dynamic Head of Finance and Commercial Operations to spearhead a motivated and high-achieving team within our Executive Education division.

Your role will encompass providing guidance on all financial, legal, and contractual issues, ensuring the business operates smoothly and effectively.

This multifaceted position will play a crucial part in helping Executive Education meet its strategic objectives aligned with the School's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the formulation of a strategic plan for Executive Education and oversee your function to facilitate the realization of the London Business School vision.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments within Executive Education and across the School to comprehend their strategic objectives and offer expert guidance to enhance effective decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to all external and internal policies and regulations by Executive Education personnel.
  • Establish and maintain the legal and commercial framework for Executive Education, ensuring it remains current and competitive.
  • Work closely with the School's Finance team to create and finalize budgets for Executive Education, overseeing and evaluating outcomes to guarantee appropriate resource allocation and achievement of financial targets.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management and commercial insight.
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion abilities, with a talent for negotiation and collaboration.
  • Experience in managing relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Established credibility and a robust network within your area of expertise.
  • Subject matter expert in relevant legislation, policies, tools, or systems pertinent to your specialization.
  • Certification in project or change management, with experience in leading complex business transformation initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the various activities and offerings of London Business School.
  • Adept at identifying industry best practices and integrating them into future planning for your area of expertise.
