Our offerings range from modern cocktails to craft beers and an exquisite selection of small-batch gins, ensuring there’s something delightful for everyone.

We are thrilled to unveil an innovative dining concept named Ketchup, and we seek an individual with culinary expertise to help actualize this exciting initiative. In this role, you will lead a vibrant team of approximately 30 staff members, ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.

As the sole venue in St Andrews operating until the early hours, we are committed to providing an enjoyable experience that seamlessly transitions our guests from day to night. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and cultivate a diverse team to maintain high service standards.
  • Operations Management: Supervise all daily operations, including staffing, inventory oversight, and customer relations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and profitability through effective revenue strategies.
  • Customer Experience: Guarantee an exceptional customer journey by upholding service excellence and addressing feedback promptly.
  • Sales & Marketing: Formulate and execute strategies to enhance foot traffic and revenue through promotions and local partnerships.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Supplier Relations: Manage supplier partnerships to secure high-quality products at competitive rates.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships within the local community, including universities and businesses.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a General Manager or in a senior role within the hospitality sector, ideally in a bar or restaurant environment.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with a talent for team management.
  • Business Acumen: Strong grasp of financial management principles, including budgeting and P&L oversight.
  • Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and resolving issues effectively.
  • Marketing Skills: Background in developing and implementing successful marketing initiatives.
  • Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting and manage the challenges of a busy venue.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the St Andrews area and its unique demographics is advantageous.
