Job Description

Our client, a leading civil engineering company, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Agent to join their team. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with current Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff and contractors.
  • Quality Management: Adhere to the client's Quality Management System, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage allocated projects effectively, updating management on progress and identifying potential threats and opportunities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site inspections, reports, and documentation, in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
  • Site Management: Ensure effective use of materials, minimize site waste, and maintain appropriate segregation arrangements on site.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain good relationships with customers, architects, engineers, and local authority staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management, health and safety, or a related field.
