Our client, a leading civil engineering company, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Agent to join their team. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with current Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Quality Management: Adhere to the client's Quality Management System and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage allocated projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Communication: Regularly update management on project progress, identify potential threats and opportunities, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including the Construction Phase Plan, Health and Safety File, and other relevant records.
  • Site Management: Ensure all staff work within required timescales and quality standards, minimizing potential snagging costs.
  • Procurement: Correctly requisition mechanical plant within budget and in time to meet programme requirements.
  • Labour Management: Sourcing sufficient numbers of appropriately skilled labour to meet contract requirements.
  • Reporting: Assist the Commercial Manager in preparing necessary reports as required by the Client (or representatives).
  • Site Maintenance: Ensure effective use of materials to minimize site waste and maintain appropriate segregation arrangements on site before removal.
