The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Operations Management: Coordinate and supervise lifting operations on construction sites, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures to ensure safe working practices.
  • Lifting Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and inspect lifting equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on lifting techniques and procedures, collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and safe lifting operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document and report on lifting activities, including incidents and near misses, and train site staff on safe lifting practices and procedures.
Personal Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Site Engineer or Construction Site Operations Specialist.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills, with ability to understand construction drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with previous experience using AutoCAD.
  • CSCS Card is required for this position.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure takes into account the level of expertise required, the location of the job, and the industry standards for this role.
