About the Role

Cygnet is seeking a skilled Activity Coordinator to join our team. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and developing activity programmes to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to design and deliver activity programmes that support patients' recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Develop and maintain a daily record of work completed with patients, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of progress.
  • Engage in joint working across different wards, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in in-house and external training to enhance professional skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in the field of mental health, with a strong understanding of mental health recovery and rehabilitation principles.
  • Ability to take a hands-on approach, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Passion for delivering meaningful activities that promote patient engagement and well-being.
