About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our EHS team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide EHS support to our operational teams, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, accredited processes, and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Manager to develop and implement effective EHS strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees and contractors on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the investigation and reporting of EHS incidents and near misses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
  • IEMA or similar in environmental awareness.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a health and safety related role.
  • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • Auditor trained or auditing experience.
  • Experience of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of safety and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
