Controls Systems Engineer - Electrical Focus

Salary: £54,000

Detail 2 Recruitment Limited is representing a prominent packaging organization with multiple facilities throughout the UK. We are currently seeking a Controls Systems Engineer with an electrical focus to enhance operations at the Banbury site.

Shift Patterns
  • Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 Sunday to Thursday
  • Back Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday
  • Day Shift: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday
  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting planned maintenance, inspections, and ongoing improvements of mechanical systems
  • Engaging in various project initiatives
  • Installation, commissioning, and upkeep of all equipment
  • Documenting maintenance activities to comply with regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to communicate issues and outcomes
Candidate Requirements
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial machinery
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous
  • Able to interpret mechanical schematics and technical documentation
  • Skilled in utilizing workshop tools and equipment
  • Familiarity with access and lifting equipment such as Forklifts or MEWPs
