Accounts Assistant Job Description

KCR Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in County Durham. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including debtor and creditor ledgers.
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and efficient financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the production of management accounts, providing valuable insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Perform general administrative duties within the finance team, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Microsoft Office and Sage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
Working Arrangements:

4 days in the office and 1 day home working, with regular hours of 8.30am - 5pm.
