Our Finance department is responsible for managing all direct and indirect taxes across the Group to ensure compliance with local regulations in each country that the Group operates in.

About the Role

We're seeking a tax professional to support the Director of Tax in a specialist role working across a range of indirect tax compliance and advisory work. As a key member of the Tax Team, you'll lead, support, and advise the tax compliance team on indirect tax treatment of new transactions, ensuring technical accuracy of worldwide indirect tax filings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regular indirect tax training to the team and wider functions.
  • Provide insight into indirect taxes across the Group and drive opportunities to improve cash/value.
  • Assist the Director of Tax in project work as required, including determining the correct VAT treatment of restructures, new product and service lines.
  • Support on M&A activity from an indirect perspective, including due diligence, structuring, and transitioning new business acquisitions.
Requirements

We're looking for a technically strong and ATT/CTA qualified individual with at least 5 years of indirect tax experience. You'll have experience of preparing indirect tax returns either in practice or another in-house role, and strong Excel skills and system knowledge.
