Join Our Team as a Tax Professional

We're a forward-thinking global business that builds transformative solutions for our customers. Our Tax Team is a growing, centralized function within the Finance department, responsible for managing all direct and indirect taxes across the Group.

About the Role

We're seeking a tax professional to support the Director of Tax in a specialist role working across a range of indirect tax compliance and advisory work. As a key member of our Tax Team, you'll lead, support, and advise the tax compliance team on indirect tax treatment of new transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the tax compliance team on indirect tax treatment of new transactions
  • Subject matter expert on indirect tax matters – resolve queries from finance and business
  • Ensure technical accuracy of worldwide indirect tax filings, including those completed by the outsource provider
  • Lead, identify, and implement VAT changes, process, and technology improvements with the VAT Project Manager and compliance team
  • Identify indirect tax changes impacting our business, advising and supporting on all necessary business changes as a consequence
  • Lead regular indirect tax training to the team and wider functions
  • Lead all indirect tax enquiries from tax authorities
  • Provide insight into indirect taxes across the group and drive opportunities to improve cash/value
  • Assist the Director of Tax in project work as required
Requirements
  • Technically strong and ATT/CTA qualified, with at least 5 years of indirect tax experience
  • Experience of preparing indirect tax returns either in practice or another in-house role
  • Strong Excel skills and system knowledge
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with members of the Finance Team and the wider business teams
