Audit Manager Job Vacancy
We are looking for a talented Audit Manager in Crewe to oversee and manage audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to a loyal client portfolio at an excellent firm. The successful candidate will have several years of experience in audit, significant supervisory level experience, a keen eye for detail, and outstanding interpersonal skills.

As such, it’s seeking a personable Audit Manager, someone who is technically highly capable, is likely ACA or ACCA qualified and who is keen to form first-class client relationships and take on a leadership role in an efficient and settled audit team.
The role will involve high level overview, conducting and leading on audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. The successful Audit Manager in Crewe will also manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive team environment and overseeing performance. Of course it goes without saying that applicants must also be able to showcase the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and effective communication throughout the audit process.

Job Purpose
- Lead the delivery of audits from planning to completion, including field work.
- Work closely with the Director to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
- Preparation and review of financial statements.
- Manage junior staff with learning and development and performance.
- Nurture outstanding client relationships.
- Target setting and department budgeting.
- Business development and networking.
- Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
- Champion your own professional development, scoping training opportunities.

The Successful Applicant
- ACA or ACCA?qualified or studying with previous audit experience within practice.
- Adept at supporting audits from planning to completion.
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
- An eagerness to progress with the firm, undertaking continuous professional development.
