Resilience and Continuity Expert

Vermelorpo is seeking a highly skilled Resilience and Continuity Expert to support the development and embedding of the resilience operating model across our business. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that resilience processes are robust, meet regulatory standards, and align with the company's risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Group's Operational Resilience Framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote resilience awareness and training across the organisation, fostering a culture of resilience and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development and testing of crisis and business continuity plans, ensuring effective response and recovery strategies.
  • Coordinate and review regulatory documents for governance, ensuring adherence to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
  • Report on resilience capabilities to senior committees, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage group-wide incidents, tracking lessons learned and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee the mass notification tool, ensuring effective use and training across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Operational Resilience and industry standards (ISO27001, ISO22301, etc.).
  • Understanding of risk in business operations, technology, and cloud services.
  • Experience in Business Continuity, Incident/Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, and Supplier Management.
  • Preferable experience in insurance or financial services with FCA regulation knowledge.
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience managing crises and operational outages is desirable.
