Job Opportunity

Cubis Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Operations Manager at our Tallington site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the local Operations Manager and team in working on various projects to improve safety, develop people, enhance quality, and upgrade the plant and its processes.
  • Project leadership and management of business improvement projects and installations.
  • Collaborate with production engineers to improve manufacturing processes, material flow, and automation projects.
  • Support the leadership team with project management and development of the plant's infrastructure and growth.
  • Develop and implement lean concepts with the assistance of the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and improve the Tallington plant and wider business.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
  • Process trouble shooting and development support – Quality & Environmental.
Requirements
  • High level IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe Pro, and Advanced Excel.
  • Understanding of digital communications tools such as email and intranets.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute actively to projects.
  • Desirable experience in injection moulding or compression moulding.
  • Education to Degree level, or equivalent, in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering).
