Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Cubis Systems. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the local Operations Manager and the team in working on a range of projects to improve safety, develop people, improve quality, and upgrade the plant and its processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project leadership and management of business improvement projects and installations.
- Work closely and liaise with production engineers to improve the plants manufacturing processes, flow of materials and automations projects.
- Supporting the leadership team with project management and development of the plant's infrastructure and growth.
- Assist the engineering team with the capital expenditure projects from their identification of new opportunities.
- Develop and implementation of lean concepts with the assistance of the manufacturing engineering team.
- Developing best practices, identifying opportunities to grow and improve the plant and wider business.
- Ensuring that all company policies and processes are worked to and are complaint.
- Process trouble shooting & development support – Quality & Environmental
- Other projects as defined appropriate including CRH based projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be technically advanced with the ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
- High level IT skills including proficiency in full MS Office suite, Adobe Pro, Advanced Excel an understanding of, and ability to utilise, digital communications tools.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute actively to projects.
- Experience in injection moulding or compression moulding is desirable.
Essential Criteria:
- Candidates must be educated to Degree level, or equivalent, in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering).
