Key Responsibilities

As a Site Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our construction sites, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising and guiding both staff and subcontractors. You will uphold site health and safety standards while ensuring adherence to environmental, quality, and commercial protocols.

In this client-facing position, you will not only manage and fulfill customer expectations but also ensure that projects are completed within budget while maintaining our renowned service quality and standards.

This role is dynamic, requiring you to direct daily operations, collaborate with subcontractors to enhance work methods, deliver training sessions, and engage with suppliers and the public.

Participation in a standby rota will be required on a one-in-four basis.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a proactive attitude and excellent management and communication skills to maximize team performance.

A commitment to delivering high-quality service while working collaboratively with clients and suppliers is essential.

Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, is necessary as the role involves utilizing our online systems for management, procurement, and financial tasks.

You should possess experience in:

  • supervising high-volume, low-turnover and capital projects within the contracting sector
  • material and equipment requisition, as well as planning and scheduling activities
  • managing a diverse team of direct and subcontractor personnel in a fast-paced environment

A solid understanding of the water industry and proven leadership capabilities are also required.

A valid driving license is essential for this role, and a company vehicle will be provided along with necessary tools, PPE, and equipment.
