Emergency Department Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Nurse to provide expert clinical and managerial leadership in the Emergency Department as a Band 7 Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in research, audit, and service development as part of the senior nursing team in the department.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, safe emergency nursing care while upholding the trust values.
- Help manage safety and flow in the department, achieving government targets and key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.

Person Specification:- RN (Adult) or RN (Child)
- Core post-registration emergency nursing education (Acutely unwell Adult or Child, Emergency Practice or equivalent)
- Practise assessor
- BSc or evidence of study at level 6 with ability to complete BSc
- Safeguarding level 3
- ATNC, ETC or equivalent (or able to undertake within 6 months)
- ALS
- HMIMMS (or able to undertake within 1 year)
- APLS
- MSc or evidence of study at level 7
- Management course
- Understanding of Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit
£54,320 to £60,981 per annum inc HCAS (pro-rata)
Contract:Permanent
