Emergency Department Matron

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join our Emergency Department as a Matron. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the Emergency Department team
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
- Managing staff performance and providing coaching and development opportunities
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Ensuring compliance with trust policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level registered nurse qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of working in an Emergency Department setting
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
